CHARLOTTE’S RUNWAY EDIT
Black satin, Angel Pink, and a little runway spirit at home.
Some evenings call for pajamas. Others call for pajamas with ambition.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show speaks to the former ballerina in me: the dressing, the anticipation, and that little moment when an ordinary step becomes an entrance. For this edit, I wanted to capture a little of that spirit in fashion sketches and a City Moments close-up: black satin, Angel Pink, and a little backstage glamour.
The Backstage Entrance

This black satin robe deserves an over-the-shoulder moment. The front is beautifully simple; turn around, and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2026 lettering makes the introduction for you. I love the contrast of that playful announcement with the sleek black fabric, fine white piping and tied waist.
Satin does a great deal with very little. Its smooth surface catches the light along a fold, while the piping gives the edges a clean outline. Add a pointed heel, and suddenly “I’m getting ready” has become a rather convincing look of its own. A black Birkin 25 sits on the vanity stool in the sketch: apparently even getting ready has a handbag requirement.
Angel Pink, in the City

The Angel Pink Shine Script bra is the soft counterpoint to all that black. Its crystal straps and delicate script detail bring just enough sparkle to feel special, while the pale pink keeps everything light. I’ve given it a City Moments close-up on an ivory closet island, with all the attention on the pink and crystals: a little backstage glamour, with a very Charlotte amount of polish.
There is something wonderfully cheering about a beautiful piece you choose simply because you love it. Even when it is usually the part of the outfit only you know about.
Angels, Off Duty

The Angel Pink Wings pajamas bring the mood home. The wing motif is printed across the satin, turning a familiar shirt-and-shorts set into something with a little more personality. The bedroom sketch keeps the focus on the printed satin, with a close-up from behind and a little Plaza-style polish.
Would I normally make an entrance in pajamas? Probably not. Would I briefly consider it if the pajamas were pink, the hair was behaving, and the setting was a New York penthouse? Let’s not make any promises.
Xoxo, Charlotte
