Her Room
A little French charm
I wanted to begin Madison’s Little World with the details of her nursery: the curved ivory crib, the crown above it, her soft pink blanket, and those tiny shoes that somehow deserve a shelf of their own.
Much of her furniture is from RH Baby & Child. I fell for the French shapes and gentle finishes, especially the Belle crib with its carved frame and upholstered ends. It has so much character, yet the pale colors keep everything feeling soft.
My Scandinavian side has always loved white, light, and a little breathing room. The blush touches are where my girl-mom heart makes itself known. A blanket over the rail, a pink pillow, the faded pattern of her rug—just enough to make the room feel like hers.
A little Parisian charm, with all the sweetness of her own little world.
The Details
A crown, a canopy,
and a touch of blush
The crown and its flowing white canopy give the crib such a romantic outline. I love the contrast between that ornate shape and the simplicity of the fabric beneath it. The little carvings on the crib echo the same feeling, without needing another decorative piece beside them.
Her pink blanket brings a familiar softness to all that ivory. It is one of those details that makes the whole room feel more personal. The blush rug does the same beneath the crib, with a gentle, timeworn pattern that sits so beautifully with the furniture.
I wanted the special pieces to have space around them. The pale palette lets you notice the lovely things: the curve of the crib, the folds of the canopy, a tiny ribbon.

Little Keepsakes
The smallest things
Then there are her shelves. The Marielle bookcase gives the little gifts and keepsakes a place to be enjoyed: pink and ivory baby shoes, a soft bunny, and that bright red bow that makes me smile every time I look at this photograph.
There is something especially sweet about these pieces together. The furniture has all the grandeur of a French room, and right in the middle of it sits a little bunny in a pink tutu. That feels about right for Madison’s world.
This is what I want to share here: her room, her little fashion pieces, and the details that are easy to pass by but so lovely to remember. The tiny shoes certainly will not stay tiny forever.
