A Little Memory
It starts
with a ribbon
Sometimes a photograph holds a whole memory in one small detail. In this one, it is a brown Hermès ribbon tied in a bow, resting against Madison’s soft hair. The little loops, the white stitching, and that downward glance are enough to bring me straight back to this tiny chapter.
I love seeing the same ribbon appear through these photographs. On her cap, beside her shoes, and across an eight-month keepsake, it becomes a little thread connecting them all.
There is something so sweet about the contrast: such a familiar ribbon, on such a little girl.
A little ribbon, a tiny pair of shoes,
and a moment worth keeping.

The Little Look
A touch of navy
The navy cap brings a different color into her little world. Against the camel and ivory blanket, the deep blue looks so lovely, with its brown band and a small glint of gold at the front.
The ribbon makes it feel connected to the close-up. I like that the colors are simple enough to let you notice the textures: the soft surface of the cap, the smooth band, and the woven ribbon with its tiny white details.
These are the little outfit details I want to remember alongside the bigger photographs. A cap can look so small on a blanket, and still hold so much character.

Ivory & Blush
The sweetest little pair
Her ivory Christian Louboutin baby shoes have all the details I love in miniature: a satin sheen, a little strap, a bow at each side, and that soft pink lining inside.
On the patterned blanket, their pale color stands out beautifully. The brown ribbon sits across them like a finishing touch, bringing the colors of the photographs together without needing anything more.
I love this quieter view of her wardrobe. You can see the shape of the bows and just how tiny those shoes really are.

Eight Months
A chapter tied with a bow
The photograph with her eight-month disc gives these details their place in time. A little wooden circle, pink lettering, those ivory shoes, and the ribbon again. Such a simple collection of things, and such a lovely way to remember that age.
This is what I want Madison’s Little World to hold: the little looks, the beautiful details, and the photographs that make me pause. A tiny pair of shoes tells us how small she was. A bow brings the whole memory together.
