I’m all about wearing leather – real or faux. It’s the perfect transition fabric that you can sport from Summer to Fall with ease – and it’s super sexy! Synonymous with cowboys, biker gangs and rock legends, leather pants will inject your closet with some rebellious spirit – and they’re surprisingly wearable, too. Leather pants have a colorful history. First sported by cowboys in frontier times, their association with wild behavior is an integral part of their DNA. A symbol of rebellion, they enjoyed a renaissance in the ’50s when they became part of the ‘Greaser’ uniform, and again in the ’70s as the go-to choice for rock’n’roll and punk royalty.

If you go for a statement top in leather – or even an all-leather look from top to toe, make sure to accessories it correctly. Keep it simple; classic boots or pumps, a statement belt, and a miniature clutch or WOC will ensure that these leather trophy pieces get the attention they deserve. I like to keep my make up and styling minimal when I wear leather – a red lip and slicked-back hair is my favorite!
