Love At The Plaza

I can’t believe it’s been 365 days since I married the love of my life! As you all probably know by now, our Anniversary is on February 14 “Valentine’s Day”, and this year we celebrated our love for each other at The Plaza New York! This Beaux Arts–style 19-story landmark on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Central Park South is synonymous with New York. Rooms are as sophisticated and elegant as they come, many with views overlooking Central Park. All rooms have period furnishings and chandeliers, marble bathrooms, 24-karat-gold-plated faucets, and come with round-the-clock butler service.

“The decor inside The Palm Court is breathtaking and feels like straight out of The Great Gatsby.”

Our Manhattan Winter Wedding

Keith and I got married in a snowy Central Park on Valentine’s Day. I’ve been secretly wishing for a lot of snow before our wedding, and considering the city has already gotten more than 32.5 inches of snow so far this Winter, my dream definitely came true! After having to cancel our big Fall wedding at The Rainbow Room due to Covid-19, we decided to make our wedding small and intimate. Our wedding in beautiful Central Park ended up being the most authentic and beautiful wedding we could have ever asked for… I’m so happy with how it all went down!

“Keith and I got married at The Gapstow Bridge by The Plaza Hotel. This is one of my favorite spots in The Park, and with all the snow it seemed straight out of a fairytale book”

Shopping for the Perfect Wedding Shoe

Choosing the perfect wedding shoe can be a challenge. Do you search for a store that specializes in wedding shoes, or do you look for a pair at your local department store? I suggest you begin with your taste in footwear, and have that in mind and then you start looking. One element that you can’t ignore and you have to pay immediate attention to is how the shoes feel and if you can wear them all day. A pair of heels that kills your feet changes everything about you – your posture, your face, you get angry.

“and hello… she has wings!! I mean, how incredible wouldn’t it be walking down the aisle with two sets of wings on your feet?”
