Time to let your Spring Flag Fly

After wearing a uniform of turtlenecks and puffy coats all winter long, it feels amazing to welcome spring. Say goodbye to scarves, gloves and layers of clothing to keep us warm in the cold. Although I’m a fan of attire that is more appropriate for colder weather, spring and fall are my top two favorite seasons when it comes to both fashion and nature. The in-between transitional weather of spring and fall gives us more freedom when it comes to our wardrobes.

“Having a zip up is like having your own personal air conditioning… when I’m down by the beach I can zip up and stay warm, and when I’m cruising through the desert, I can let me flag fly and enjoy the warm air”

Much smoother skin with OLAY

One of the best beauty secrets my mum ever told me was that it’s never too early to start focusing on your skin. As I’m starting to notice little lines here and there, I couldn’t agree more! One of my favorite parts of what I do is that I get to try out some of the newest beauty products before they hit the stores! I’ve discovered so many amazing products I would’ve never known about otherwise, which are now some of my product staples.

“The initial smell was delightful like fresh flowers! It’s very important to me for anything I’m putting on my face or body to have a pleasant aroma”

The Magic of Gucci Resort 2018: A Renaissance in Florence

The Gucci Cruise 2018 show took place in Florence, Italy a few months back. Inspired by the Renaissance, Alessandro Michele showed a collection that had a little bit of everything: New logo shirts and jeans for the ladies. A men’s must-have sweater that read Guccy across the front (sure to be spotted on every street style star worth her salt in Instagram followers.) Jogger pants, fanny packs, gold sequin capes. Red carpet-worthy Grecian-inspired gowns, bold palazzo pants, signature stripe cardigans, a logo-stamped fur coat—the list is long. After all, there were more than 100 looks!

“I styled my pants with the matching sweater top for a quintessentially Gucci Girl ensemble”

How to Dress like a Parisian

Effortlessly chic by nature, nonchalantly elegant in approach, Parisian women win hands down in the style stakes. Parisian fashionistas develop a signature look, and stick with it. They might update their wardrobe with a few trends, but they always stick to a similar aesthetic. Break down the wardrobes of the French woman, and the style rules they live begin to crystalize. Forgo a trendy embellished sweatshirt for a perfectly fitted LBD dress you’ll wear for years, for one. Invest in a few classic luxury items, like a Hermès Kelly, knowing it will ultimately be a value spread over time. And above all, work to perfect a unique style all your own, because half the battle when it comes to dressing well is feeling good in what you are wearing.

“When in doubt, ask yourself what a modern Coco Chanel would wear! She redefined the way that women dressed in the early 20th century, but the look that Coco Chanel created is just as significant today”
