Most little girls grow up dreaming of their perfect wedding day. What amazing gown they will wear, the sparkly shoes, the fabulous food and who will be invited. I was not one of those little girls. Growing up as a professional ballerina, performing in swan-tutus and princess-crowns was an every-day thing for me!

And while those fall goods—those Dior over-the-knee boots and Gucci pleated leather midi skirts and Céline fur collar trenches—are still as beautiful as the first time you laid eyes on them, you can’t help but get visions of melting on Madison Avenue, Wicked Witch of the West-style, when you look at them. So the question remains, what do I buy now?
