My Gloomy January

There was a time when I used to hate the month of January… the grey and cold weather… witnessing all the gorgeous Christmas trees and lights being brutally ripped down all over town… Just all so incredibly depressing. Like a long, miserable Monday that never ended.

Is it Bad Luck Wearing Black on New Years?

One of my girlfriends called me earlier today screaming “I don’t know if it is just a conisidence, but last New Year’s Eve I wore black, and this year was the unluckiest of my life”.
While I love dressing up in something glamorous and sparkly for New Year’s Eve, I must admit that I have dressed in black for New Year’s on a few occasions.
