The ballerina trend may come and go, but, for me, dressing up as a ballerina is always in style. I’m not exactly running around the streets of New York in my pointe shoes, but I do have more ballerina skirts and dresses than the average person, I am, after all, a ballerina at heart. I often find myself dressing in ballet-inspired outfits, especially around the holiday season. One of my all-time favorite ballets, George Ballenchine’s, The Nutcracker, is premiering at the New York City Ballet next week and I’m counting the days, in my tutu’s, of course, until the premiere.
Happy Halloween: Late, Late, Late for Tea Time!!
I hope everyone had an amazing Halloween! New Yorkers go all-in with their Halloween decorations, and I especially love how the Upper West and Upper East Siders decorate their stunning brownstones!
I dressed up as Alice in Wonderland this year – although my original plan was to be a unicorn. When the designer Jaydee offered to custom-make me an amazing Alice jacket (she hand paints original Levis jackets – super creative!), my unicorn outfit obviously got kicked right out of the Halloween-closet.
The Perfect Fall-Winter Cape
The fall crisp air is beginning, and I’m over-excited for Fall and all the wonderful Holidays to finally arrive! I love dressing in layers, and finding the perfect cape jacket or coat has been on my bucket-list since May!
“I like how fashionable cape coats are… they add that extra touch of fabulous. Plus they always makes me feel like a super hero”
