Breakfast at the Beverly Hills Hotel

One of the world’s most admired fashion icons and my biggest fashion inspiration is Audrey Hepburn! Her and I share the same birthday, so this year I wanted to do a special post to celebrate her here on Manhattan Girl. Just like me, Audrey started taking ballet lessons at the young age of five. She was born in Belgium to a Dutch Baroness mother and British father. While studying ballet with Marie Rambert in London, Audrey discovered that her future in ballet was limited due to her height and petite figure. She decided to pursue acting. She started performing on stage, and would act in a few minor roles before her big break came in “The Secret People.”

My Top 5 Favorite Beauty Products

I’ve always been a very girly girl and have been obsessed with beauty products and make-up for as long as I can remember. While I don’t believe in being heavy-handed and prefer a more natural look, I do believe that every woman can use a little bit of help through the magic of great skincare products and make-up.

No Mission Too Impossible

I wake up feeling the sun in my face. Long, white curtains are blowing in the wind. I can see the beautiful view of Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley from the exquisite hotel suite I’m staying in. I turn around and there he’s laying next to me. Shirtless. Naked. The most gorgeous man I’ve seen in my life. There is a knock at the door, and he wakes up. The breakfast I ordered 20 minutes ago arrives. We stare at each other while he drinks his coffee and I drink my orange juice, and I feel like I just want to pause this moment forever.
